Welcome to Project Art Lockerbie

 

 The Project Art cooperative was launched on October the 15th 2010 and initially was to run until Christmas.
Due to the success of the project with much interest from the local community and visitors to Lockerbie the cooperative decided to carry on with an ever changing gallery of Art.

 Project Art  consists of 20 artists  of mixed ability. The aim of the co-operative is to showcase  and sell affordable art, produced by local artists.The gallery is staffed by the artists themselves and features works of art in many different mediums including oil ,acrylic, watercolour, pastel, graphite and  colour pencil.

There is also handmade jewellery and craft items produced by some of our members .

Artist produced greeting cards are also available to purchase.


The gallery can be found on the High Street in Lockerbie opposite to the Town Hall , it is shared with the gallery owner,  local business man and talented photographer George Porteous, whose photographs are on show and available to be purchased from the gallery as well.
